Ensure proper sequencing in lists
Flag inappropriate figures of speech
Eliminate repetitive, trite, or verbose material
Smooth transitions and move sentences to improve readability
Query or fix faulty organization and gaps in logic
Ensure consistent style and tone
Follow preferred style guide or style sheet, if available, or compile if necessary
